Novatek, the largest Russian LNG exporter from the Yamal plant in northern Siberia and the developer of the Arctic LNG II project on the Gydan Peninsula, has announced impending changes in its Global Depositary Receipts (GDR) program as The Bank of New York Mellon is withdrawing as the currently appointed depositary.
Novatek, the operator of the Yamal LNG plant and developer of the Arctic LNG II project, said the first three stages of international certification have been obtained for long-term carbon-dioxide underground storage sites on the Yamal and Gydan peninsulas in northern Siberia.
Novatek, the largest Russian natural gas company after Gazprom and operator of the Yamal liquefied natural gas export plant in northern Siberia, has issued third-quarter production and sales details showing higher domestic gas sales and much lower volumes of LNG sold.
Gazprom said an engineering, procurement and construction contract as well as supply accords had been signed as part of the Baltic LNG and chemicals complex development at Ust-Luga, west of St Petersburg.
