The Chinese government said it hoped for more energy cooperation with Russia and praised the Eastern Economic Forum in the Russian Far East city of Vladivostok as a “key platform” for discussing economic issues concerning Russia and Asia and in particular China.

China says the US state of Alaska is making serious efforts to become a stable supplier of liquefied natural gas for Chinese import terminals from the liquefaction project planned by Alaska Gasline Development Corporation.
