Knud E. Hansen, the Danish maritime engineering and construction consultancy, has designed the first generation of LNG-powered and ultra-large Roll-On-Roll-Off (RoRo) cargo vessels to be built in China for the newly-established Swedish shipping line Wallenius-SOL.

Lloyd’s Register, the UK ship classification society, said one of its classed ships, a dual-fuel vessel with LNG propulsion that makes bulk overseas deliveries of cars and trucks, has been launched at a shipyard in Nantong, China.
