Asian spot LNG prices have risen to near record levels last week, as Asian buyers sought to secure supply ahead of winter, narrowing the price spread with Europe where Russian gas flows remain curtailed.
Freeport LNG, has reportedly retracted its force majeure, leaving traders to source product on the spot market at significant losses, according to Reuters.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said it would not oppose the proposed acquisition of Refinitiv Parent Limited (Refinitiv), the analytics and data firm covering financial and energy markets, by the London Stock Exchange Group in a £24 billion (US$31Bln) deal.
