The United States energy outlook for December has forecast lower benchmark Henry Hub natural gas spot prices for the rest of the winter heating season to March 2024 because of higher production and storage levels.

Liquefied natural gas spot cargo prices for China, Japan and South Korea remained high in the $24-$25 per million British thermal units band along with European wholesale natural gas prices on supply concerns in the European Union and the UK that preceded the current Russia-Ukraine tensions.
