Indian liquefied natural gas imports continued their decline in 2022 because of high prices and competition from the European market, while domestic natural gas output rose amid a fall in the nation’s gas consumption.
TechnipFMC, the Franco-US energy engineering company, said it was awarded a significant subsea contract by Reliance Industries of India for the development of a large natural gas field in the Krishna Godavari basin of the Bay of Bengal offshore Andhra Pradesh.
