Golar LNG said it entered into swap arrangements to hedge part of its Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) price exposure for the incremental 200,000 tonnes per annum from Train 3 production on the “FLNG Hilli Episeyo” from the first quarter of 2022 at a price of $28 per million British thermal units.

Perenco, the European energy company with a stake in the Cameroon floating LNG production project in West Africa as well as natural gas fields and infrastructure in the UK area of the North Sea, is carrying out a strategic review and may sell some assets.

The 140,620 cubic metres capacity carrier “Galicia Spirit” will deliver a cargo on June 14 to the new Chinese Qidong import terminal owned by Guanghui Energy from the floating LNG hull “Hilli Episeyo” that began production in mid-March off the port of Kribi in Cameroon.

Perenco, the European energy company with a stake in the Cameroon floating LNG project offshore West Africa, said the first cargo would be lifted by the end of April and possibly sooner.

Golar LNG, the project and shipping company, said the floating LNG production vessel, the “Hilli Episeyo”, has departed Singaporean waters to be deployed for an FLNG joint venture before the end of November 2017 offshore the West African state of Cameroon.

Singapore shipyard Keppel Offshore and Marine said it would soon deliver the world's first converted Floating Liquefaction Vessel (FLNGV) owned by Norwegian project company Golar LNG and set to be deployed offshore the West African nation of Cameroon.
