French energy company Engie has signed an accord to promote liquefied natural gas as a marine fuel with France’s largest shipping group CMA CGM, operator of a fleet of more than 400 container vessels.

Engie’s new Chief Executive Isabelle Kocher has named a new group executive committee for the French energy company, including two liquefied natural gas executives, as it launches an ambitious transformation plan.

French utility and energy company Engie and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Co. (EGAS) have signed a cooperation agreement on liquefied natural gas imports to Egypt.
