UK major BP and Kosmos Energy of the US along with the state energy companies of Mauritania and Senegal have confirmed the development expansion concept for the second phase of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) gas fields floating LNG project.

UK energy major BP said the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the floating LNG export project being developed jointly by West African nations Mauritania and Senegal has set sail from China for the project site.
