The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) said its Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement entered into force at the start of January, creating the world’s largest free trade area in all products, including LNG and hydrocarbons fuels.

Cheniere Energy Chief Executive Jack Fusco has provided a positive growth outlook for US liquefied natural gas exports to Asian markets, including China, during an energy forum at Rice University in Houston, Texas, and said LNG would be produced soon at the two newest Cheniere processing Trains.
