Latest deal in Eagle Ford Shale backed by equity fund gives valuation in LNG project zone
Venado Oil & Gas, a privately-held firm based in the Texan city of Austin, has agreed to buy Cabot Oil & Gas Corp.’s Eagle Ford shale holdings for $765 million, giving a value indicator for 2018 of US shale assets as LNG production projects develop.
