Royal Dutch Shell Chief Executive Ben van Beurden has signed a further agreement with Russian natural gas company Gazprom to make progress for plans to build an LNG export plant on the northwest Russian coast with cargoes pointing at Europe and South America.
Breaking Gazprom's 100% gas supply monopoly, Litgas, the trading arm of Lietuvos Energija, has signed a 5-year LNG supply deal with Norway's Statoil at an estimated value of up to €870 million.
