Azerbaijan, the Central Asian nation and former Soviet republic, has issued its quarterly natural gas pipeline export data that affects LNG requirements in Southern Europe.
Italian natural gas grid and LNG terminals operator SNAM reported an increase in annual revenues as LNG imports rose along with storage levels to cope with the European gas crisis.
The Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), an 878-kilometres transportation system bringing Caspian natural gas from Azerbaijan to Greece, Albania, via the Adriatic Sea and Italy and whose main shareholders are among Europe’s main LNG terminal and grid operators has begun commercial operations.
