Reliance Industries of India and BP of the UK said a second natural gas field had come on stream ahead of the mid-2021 schedule in the Krishna Godavari Basin offshore the Indian East Coast, adding to the nation’s gas supply in addition to LNG shipments.

TechnipFMC, the Franco-US energy engineering company, said it was awarded a significant subsea contract by Reliance Industries of India for the development of a large natural gas field in the Krishna Godavari basin of the Bay of Bengal offshore Andhra Pradesh.
