The Port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands said in its first-quarter report that liquefied natural gas throughput increased by 77.7 percent via the Gate LNG import terminal while the Dutch are also moving ahead with a second facility at the port of Eemshaven.
Heerema Group, the Dutch marine offshore contractor and owner of the biggest and strongest semi-submersible crane ever built, the “Sleipnir”, said the vessel has received the world’s largest ever LNG bunkering load in the Port of Rotterdam.
