Nov 10 (LNGJ) - Energy consultants Wood Mackenzie say the South American region, comprising LNG importers such as Brazil and Argentina, needs to invest around US$25-$30 billion per year in the natural gas industry. The report said the Southern Cone natural gas industry "was at a pivotal stage of growth" and needed substantial annual investment, much of it coming from foreign companies across the value chain.
