The MOL-managed LNGC ‘Marvel Crane’ was due to arrive at Sempra Energy's Cameron export terminal in Louisiana to load the facility’s first cargo.
She was reported to be in the Gulf of Mexico late on Monday in ballast, according to S&P Platts.
Cameron LNG started up on 14th May and has been producing natural gas since then in preparation for the export of its first cargo, Platts said.
The ‘Marvel Crane’, left Barcelona on 5th May, cFlow data showed. A representative of the Lake Charles Pilots Association told Platts that his log showed a scheduled arrival of the LNGC at the Sempra facility on Tuesday.
It was said that the LNGC ‘Shinshu Maru’ was also heading for the Cameron loading terminal, according to tracking data.
She departed from Zeebrugge on 24th May, cFlow showed.
