Tough LNG market makes Cheniere consider delaying FID on Corpus Christi Stage 3

A triple whammy of a warm winter, sluggish demand in Asia and cancelled cargoes in China due to the coronavirus outbreak is prompting Cheniere to slow down its midscale expansion FID timing. Corpus Christi Stage 3 will most likely be delayed due to a lack of stable offtake and record low LNG prices in Asia Pacific which render netback prices unattractive.
