As early as 2028, the United States will be home to 232 billion cubic meters per year (bcm/y) of LNG export capacity, up from 126 bcm/y today – far ahead of the Emirate of Qatar with 171 bcm/y. On the supply side, analysts anticipate an 80% surge in volumes coming to the market by 2030.
