Somalia is returning to the international fold after decades of being known mostly for piracy, terrorism and violent militia activity. The Federal Republic of Somalia has agreed on an initial roadmap with the joint venture of ExxonMobil and Royal Dutch Shell focused on enabling exploration for oil and gas.
