Australian company stops work on Ichthys LNG project storage tanks in payments dispute

Australian construction company Laing O’Rourke has taken 800 workers off the Ichthys LNG project site in the Northern Territory near Darwin because of a dispute over payments for four storage tanks currently being completed for the $US37-billion Japanese -French joint venture.
