Chinese LNG imports rise by almost 33 percent to annual total of more than 26 million tonnes

Chinese liquefied natural gas imports climbed by 77 percent in December 2016 compared with the same month the previous year to a record 3.73 million tonnes as cold weather and pollution led to more use of cleaner gas instead of coal.
