Canada approves Pacific NorthWest LNG project with 190 conditions and greenhouse gas cap

The Canadian federal government has given conditional approval to the Pacific NorthWest LNG project being developed by Malaysian energy company Petronas with 190 mitigation measures attached, including for the first time the imposition of a maximum cap on greenhouse gas emissions.
