Bangladesh signs up for first floating LNG import terminal with financing from the World Bank

Bangladesh signed agreements with Excelerate Energy of the US and the World Bank to provide a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) and related infrastructure to operate as the country’s first LNG terminal at Moheshkali Island in the Bay of Bengal.
