National Grid CEO defends decision to curb LNG shipments into the UK to avoid gas system overload

National Grid Plc, the UK electricity and natural gas grid operator and with a business on the US East Coast, has defended its decision to limit the amount of liquefied natural gas being shipped into the country from nations such as the US and Qatar to avoid overwhelming the gas grid system.
