Wood Mackenzie, the UK energy consultants, said that despite concerns about a natural gas crunch in Europe following the full suspension of the Nord Stream II natural gas pipeline from Russia to Germany over the Ukraine invasion, Europe could still be in a short-term positive position because of LNG.
“Mild weather and increased LNG supplies have softened the impact of continuously low Russian flows and resulted in higher volumes of gas is storage,” said the European natural gas analysis published by Wood Mackenzie.
