Chinese banks help finance Plaquemines LNG in the US

Venture Global’s recent FID on the Plaquemines LNG export plant was partially financed by two Chinese banks. Lenders included the Bank of China and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China – though the lead banks were Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, ING, JP Morgan, Mizuho, Morgan Stanley and RBC.
